Moorings

Our moorings are secure, on-line and non towpath side. There are between 20 and 25 boats moored here depending on length. Although we are more town based, there is a very pleasant outlook over a golf course which gives it a “countryside” feel. We have all the conveniences of local shops, a leisure centre 5 minutes away and a very good bus route which goes into Birmingham centre and to all the major rail network.

Our moorings are small and friendly with a good community spirit. We allow friendly dogs on site but do ask that they are kept on a lead and ask for any mess to be cleaned up. We have all the usual boating services on site to include diesel, LPG, pumpout, elsan, chandlery and coal. All of the moorings have electric and there are water points all the way down the line.

The Stratford Canal is linked with the Worcester Birmingham Canal and the Grand Union Canal so there is unlimited choice on cruising rings and trips. We have no locks for at least 4 hours cruising so providing we don’t have ice, you can still cruise in the winter without being hindered by restrictions.

If you would like an application form please don’t hesitate to call and we will send one out in the post to you or we can email one to you.
